I remembered that live broadcasting in December 1993 was over and considered it "What time will it be that he comes next?" immediately now. It is close to the very front soon. I don't calm down somewhat from now. Then I consider it to want to try to expect the performance program of beginning "1997 Japan tour" from May 3. Even if the expectation goes, I say decidedly and it is my dogmatism and person by prejudice and increases. In other words it is the music that I want to hear.
I intend to try to look back on the program played by a "breathless tour" for 1993 before.

少々曲順は前後するものが有るかもしれないが、曲目はこの通りであったと記憶している。
前回はその名の示す通り、アルバム「ブレスレス」の曲がメインであったように思う。
１の「Dying Young」は、ジュリア・ロバーツ主演の映画「愛の選択」（２０世紀フォックス）のテーマで、同名映画のオリジナル・サウンド・トラックに収録されていた曲である。彼のオリジナルアルバムには入っていなかったので、ライブで初めて聞いた人も多かっただろう。

　 さて、これから今回の来日公演の演奏曲を予想するわけであるが、私が思うに彼の演奏曲の中には絶対に落とすことのできない「定番の曲」があると思うのです。 それはまず、「Songbird」と「Forever In Love」　の２曲が挙げることができるでしょう。 「Songbird」は、いまさら言うまでもなく彼の今日の成功につながる最初の大ヒット曲である。 この曲がヒットしなくて、アルバム「デュオトーンズ」が爆発的に売れなければ、今の彼はなかったかもしれない。
「Forever In Love」は、１９９２年の秋に発売されたアルバム「ブレスレス」に収録されたもで、 私の記憶によれば、第３６回グラミー賞の「最優秀インストールメンタル作曲賞」を受賞している。 ここ最近のケニー・Ｇのスタイルが最もよくあらわれた作品である。
これに加えて、少々個人的な好みによるが「Sade」「Silhouette」「Midnight Motion」は聞き逃したくない曲です。

それでは、こういったことを前提として５月の演奏曲を予想してみよう！。
まずは曲目をあげてみます。

"Dying Young" is a theme of movie "Dying Young" of "Julia Roberts" star (the 20th century Fox). Because I didn't join his original album, there would be many people too asked on live broadcasting for the first time.

I think that there is the music that isn't completed of absolutely missing it.First, it will be "Songbird" and "Forever In Love.""Songbird" is the first large hit music. "Forever In Love"is the work which showed a figure of recent Kenny G best.
It is the music that "Sade","Silhouette" ,"Midnight Motion" is heard, and want not to be missed.

I premise such a thing and will try to expect performance music in May.

１曲目はオープニングの雰囲気にふさわしい曲をということで、「Sentimental」にしてみた。 しかし、ひょっとしたら「Home」という線も有りうる。２〜５は、あえていじらなかった。もし理由をというのであれば、「個人的に聞きたい曲」というだけである。
そして、７０％は「ソプラノ・サックス」による演奏になると思う。
やはり今回の来日は「The Moment」ツアーと銘打つ形になるであろうから、後半はその中から選んでみました。「Havana」は、ケニー・Ｇがかつてやったことがない雰囲気を持つ曲で、彼自身「新しい試み」と言っている。名前の示すとおり、ラテンのリズム（これは、ルンバになるのだろうか・・・。）をつかった曲で、まずまちがいなく演奏されるであろう。そして、アルバムの題名にもなった「The Moment」。「Innocence」は、彼が息子「マックスくん」をイメージした曲であると言っているので、その思い入れから演奏が予想できる。
「Joy Of Life」は、前回と同様に「テナー・サックス」による演奏になるだろうし、ここで彼はきっと恒例である「客席での演奏」をすることになると思う。客席に降りるのは彼が客たちとのコミュニケーションをとるために、彼にとって欠かすことのできないパフォーマンスである。客席の後ろの方の人達も期待していいですよ。運が良ければ彼はあなたの近くに来てくれるでしょう。なんと前回僕が観た名古屋の愛知県芸術劇場大ホールでのライブでは、５階席まで上がって来てくれたのですから。名古屋に限って言えば今回も会場は同じ。十分期待していいと思いますよ！。
そして最後はもちろんこの曲「Songbird」！！！。これは、間違いないところでしょう。 僕の予想はこんな感じです。あなたはどう思いますか？。このほか、曲ごとにバンドのメンバーのパフォーマンスもあるだろうし、きっと今回のジャパンツアーもすばらしいものになることでしょう。

I tried to turn the first piece into "Sentimental" with a thing with music fit for an atmosphere of opening. Possibly it may be "Home."
I think about those performances of "Soprano saxophone" increase.
Because a visit to Japan of this time would still become form to beat against "The Moment" tour and a signature, I tried to select the latter half among the inside. "Havana" calls he oneself a "new trial" with music to have an unprecedented atmosphere. And "The Moment" which became a title of an album. Because I say that "Innocence" is the music that imaged "MAX "of a son, I can expect a performance from the effusion.
It will play "Joy Of Life" with "Tenor saxophone." When he goes down from a stage surely and is to play it, I think. It is the performance that it isn't possible for of missing it for him that go down from a stage so that he takes communication with visitors. The last will certainly play "Songbird."
